Job summary

Our House Assisted Living of Cedar City is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team. We have both part-time and full-time positions across all shifts, with opportunities for advancement and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living, documenting notes and communicating with RCC and nurses. A CNA certification is required, along with a background check and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum CNA certification required and able to provide quality daily care.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities with residents, families and staff.
• Compassionate and patient approach when supporting elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Caring for elderly residents and assisting with all activities of daily living.
• Documenting changes and notifying RCC and nurse of concerns.
• Completing duties assigned by Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

Our Caregivers are responsible for caring for our elderly residents, assisting them in all cares of daily living (ADLs), documenting and notifying RCC and nurse of any changes or concerns in our residents' condition, as well as all duties given them as assigned by the Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator.

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills
• Self-Starter and able to work independently
• CNA Certification
• Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
• High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head
• Experience as CNA/Med Tech.
• Good communication skills, such as being able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and professionals. Including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
• Possess a love for the elderly
• Have a positive and compassionate attitude

A background check is required for this position upon hire as well as food handlers permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and a TB test.
