Job summary

Ponderosa Villa in Crawford, Nebraska is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide for a full-time night shift. You will administer medications, document in the eMAR, and support licensed staff in geriatric resident care.

We offer competitive hourly pay, on-the-job training, and tuition reimbursement up to $500 monthly. A CMA certification, CPR, and the ability to lift 50–100 lbs are required to ensure safe resident care.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret basic scientific and technical information in English.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in spoken English.
• Perform basic math, including calculations with standard and weight measurements.
• Demonstrate empathy and strong customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CMA certification.
• Long-term care or geriatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50-100 lbs. and assist with resident handling.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in environments with exposure to body fluids and communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medication carts and supplies; monitor inventory and reorder as needed.
• Accurately document all administrations in the eMAR system.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and resident care plans.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes, concerns, or needs to licensed nursing staff or appropriate department leaders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support resident care and team operations.
