Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories in Gilbert, Arizona is seeking a Lab Assistant to assist technical staff, collect and process specimens, and prepare samples for analysis. The role may include waived and limited moderate complexity testing under CLIA guidelines and supervisor direction.

Responsibilities include maintaining specimen integrity, performing basic QC, and supporting inventory and training activities. Night shift from 8pm to 6:30am, with Sunday to Wednesday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; must be 18+ for phlebotomy.
• Phlebotomy/CLA certification required or eligible per state regulations.
• DHS Fingerprinting Certification or ability to obtain.
• Valid state driver's license where employed.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare patient samples including specimen collection with correct patient IDs.
• Perform waived and moderate complexity testing under supervision.
• Assist with inventory management and supply usage.
• May perform phlebotomy and participate in training; support lab staff.
