Qualifications

• RN license to practice in South Carolina is required.
• National nursing certification in specialty is required or must obtain within 6 months of hire/promotion.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required; ADN or Diploma will be considered if pursuing RN-to-BSN within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational shift oversight and delegates care to staff.
• Facilitates timely patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Leads and mentors staff; maintains professional image and positive attitude.
• Ensures documentation is accurate, timely and compliant with policies.
• Participates in performance improvement activities using evidence-based practice.
• Maintains safety, infection control and confidentiality in daily operations.
