RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a Clinical Care Technician (CCT) for the Emergency Department at RWJ Somerset. You will assist RNs with vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and bedside care, while documenting accurately in the EHR and maintaining patient safety.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED and current BLS certification; CNA experience or clinical program background is preferred. This full-time night shift position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Nursing assistant experience (CNA) or clinical experience from an accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy and bedside care.
• Monitor patient status and document in the EHR.
• Support RNs and nurses in daily patient care activities.
• Follow infection control policies to keep patients safe.
• Communicate with patients, families and care teams.
