Job summary

Bunzl North America is seeking a professional Driver to safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer and deliver goods to customer locations across local and long-distance routes. The role emphasizes safety, timely logs, and excellent customer service.

Starting at 9pm with an hourly wage of 33.50 (plus 0.50 for MT season). Workers are eligible for comprehensive benefits and a pension, with paid time off and holidays as outlined by company policy.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and keep an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting issues promptly.
