Job summary

Bunzl is hiring a Class A Driver in the United States. Start time is 5:30am, Monday through Friday, with pay of $25 per hour.

Responsibilities include driving a Class A tractor-trailer, performing inspections, delivering to local and long-distance locations, and maintaining safety and paperwork standards. Ideal candidates have a valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, ability to operate various commercial vehicles, and comfort with loading/unloading.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug tests and maintain an active medical card.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods locally and long-distance to customer locations.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and ensure items are secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Report vehicle issues to management promptly.
