Job summary

Bunzl North America is seeking a Class A CDL driver to safely operate tractor-trailer and other commercial vehicles, perform pre-trip inspections, and deliver goods to local and long-distance customers. The role requires a clean driving record, ability to pass background checks and DOT regulations, and strong time-management and communication skills.

Starting times are 9pm–5am with hourly pay starting at $32.25, plus additional incentives.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and load/unload as needed.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Able to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods locally and long-distance in a timely and safe manner.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and ensure items are secured.
• Report any vehicle issues to management promptly.
