Job summary

Bunzl is seeking a professional delivery driver to operate a Class A tractor-trailer and related commercial vehicles. You’ll perform safety inspections, manage cargo, and deliver to customer locations with a focus on reliability and service.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and strong communication and time-management skills. Shifts run Tue–Sat with a start time around 4:00am, offering competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate Class A tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and load/unload.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and ensure items are securely loaded.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and report issues to management.
