Job description

Night Shift Clamp Truck Operator – Quad

Location: Hartford, WI plant.

Starting wage: $20.00 per hour, plus a $3.00 night shift premium.

Shift Information

• 12‑hour permanent night shift (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.), 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week.
• First 2‑3 weeks of training on the day shift starting at 7 a.m.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete the daily maintenance checklist at shift start.
• Move roll paper to presses, ensuring the correct type and size of paper per schedule.
• Remove used roll paper from presses and return it to inventory.
• Unload trucks and rail cars of roll paper, recording accurate inventory data and placing paper in appropriate storage bays.
• Check and ensure bar code labels are correct for paper received.
• Report and store defective roll paper separately as required.
• Load trucks and rail cars with roll paper for transfer to other facilities.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Work closely with press room crews to meet their paper needs.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Forklift, Clamp Truck, and Roll Truck experience strongly preferred.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision; team player in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented production environment.
• Good math, verbal, and written skills; ability to multitask and prioritize job needs.
• Knowledge of intermediate computer skills.
• Physical ability: lift 10–20 pounds continuously, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand for long hours, use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, and use vision to identify defects.
• Capable of working a 12‑hour permanent night shift (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.), including weekends, holidays, and 3–4 days a week.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
