Job summary

Mars Incorporated in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking a Process Machine Operator- Floater to back up the Production Coordinator and production lead, handling rebuilds, changeovers, CIP, quality checks, and continuous improvement in a Dove chocolate site.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in manufacturing, and proficiency with laptops/tablets and MS Office; preferred tech cert, 4+ years in manufacturing, Weever software experience, and forklift skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Basic analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficient using laptops, iPads, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Back up to the Production Coordinator and Production lead as needed.
• Ensure operational efficiency, conformance to standards, product quality and drive continuous improvement.
• Responsible for the efficient production of quality products.
• Operate, monitor, and perform changeover and rebuilds on machinery.
• Train and assist other associates as needed, supporting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team.
• Maintain accurate records of quality checks and keep detailed logbooks.
• Any ad hoc requests
