Job summary

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Chemistry Laboratory Technician II for night shift operations in Chicago, IL. The role involves performing laboratory analyses, preparing samples, operating analyzers, and releasing results under QA guidelines.

Responsibilities include setting up tests, maintaining reagents, QC activities, and ensuring safety and accuracy. Requires basic lab experience, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Laboratory skills and experience with tests and instruments preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and chemistry procedures helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run laboratory tests.
• Read and release test results.
• Prepare reagents for the analyzer.
• Maintain inventory of reagents and track lots/expiration dates.
• Operate and troubleshoot the analyzer.
• Calibrate and run QC when necessary.
• Report QC issues to lead tech or supervisor.
• Follow SOPs and safety/quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
