Job summary

Capital Resin Corporation is seeking a Chemical Operator for the night shift (7 PM – 7 AM) in Columbus, OH. The role supports meeting production schedules, participates in daily huddles for continuous improvement, and handles batch data with safety and quality in mind.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 55 pounds. Prior chemical manufacturing experience is a plus, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 55 lbs.,
• Experience in chemical manufacturing preferred.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment monitoring.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor batch processes and adjust as needed to meet goals.
• Measure and mix chemicals according to formulas.
• Monitor and adjust variables like temperature, pressure, and flow rates.
• Complete batch tickets accurately and maintain safety and quality.
• Perform quality checks on finished products and shut down if needed.
• Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment following SOPs.
• Stage raw materials and label finished products for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and report malfunctions.
