Job summary

Capital Resin Corporation in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Chemical Operator for the formaldehyde (HCHO) area. The role covers safe plant operation, bulk unloads, loading chemical tankers, and outdoor work with PPE.

Shifts are 12 hours, with Night Shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Training on day shift may occur. The operator will monitor processes, adjust variables, perform quality checks, and ensure safety and compliance in a 24/7 production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing preferred.
• Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 55 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor batch and adjust as required.
• Measure and mix chemicals according to specified formulas.
• Monitor process variables such as temperature and pressure.
• Ensure accuracy of batch tickets and safety compliance.
• Perform quality checks on finished products.
• Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; wear PPE.
• Other duties as assigned.
