Longview Regional Medical Center in Texas is seeking a FT Nights Charge RN for the PCU East Unit. The RN Charge oversees unit operations during assigned shifts and leads nursing staff to deliver high-quality, cost-conscious patient care.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience, active RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS preferred. The role emphasizes collaboration, patient flow management, safety, and ongoing staff development in a community-focused hospital.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• RN license active in the state and BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff, coordinate care, and participate in quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing and support staff, delegating tasks and responsibilities.
• Evaluates staff performance with feedback and coaching.
• Oversees patient care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinates with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Ensures effective communication among physicians, patients, families and departments.
• Manages bed assignments and resource utilization.
• Leads infection prevention efforts and compliance with safety standards.
