Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a Charge Nurse for Med/Surg at night shift to coordinate the delivery of nursing care across the patient lifecycle and mentor staff.

You will ensure quality care during census fluctuations, communicate care plans to leaders, and serve as a clinical resource for the team while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Georgia RN licensure required.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients during the night shift.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as a resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
