Job summary

Coldspring of Campbell County is seeking a Charge Nurse to support the Nursing supervisor in total patient care within the unit and manage the team. The role offers RN compensation ranging from $35 to $42 per hour, with additional shift differentials for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include supervising STNAs, administering medications per physician orders, facilitating admissions/discharges, reporting at shift changes, and maintaining accurate EMR documentation while upholding unit

Qualifications

• RN license in the state where the facility is located.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher required.
• Must be willing to perform non-professional duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out administrative and patient care duties as part of their shift responsibilities.
• Supervises and assumes responsibility for the actions and care delivered by the STNA’s.
• Administers medication (including IV) and treatment per physician orders.
• Transfers and discharges of patients and coordinates transportation.
• Maintains documentation in the patient electronic medical record.
