Job summary

Biopharma Careers seeks a Senior Manufacturing Leader in St. Louis, MO to oversee the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients on a 12-hour night shift (7:00pm–7:30am) with a 20% differential.

You will lead a team of production scientists and operators, drive scale-up, tech transfer, and cGMP compliance, and coordinate cross-functional collaboration with MSAT, QA/QC, Engineering, and Packaging. The role includes budget management, training oversight, and ensuring timely goods receipts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline with GMP exposure.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience in a cGMP setting.
• 1+ years of Management, Supervisory, or Lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee API manufacturing aligned with FDA and other regulators.
• Lead a team of production scientists and operators in scale-up, tech transfer, and execution of cGMP manufacturing.
• Provide guidance for production readiness including batch records, procurement, and training oversight.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with MSAT, Process & Analytical Development, Quality Control, QA, Packaging, Materials Management, Engineering, and Maintenance.
