Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Ridgely Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under supervision. CNAs are the heart of our nursing homes, delivering compassionate support in line with facility policies and the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team under licensed staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADLs and assist with daily care per plan of care.
• Change bed linens and maintain grooming supplies.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with proper body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output and other information as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents.
• Recognize and support resident rights within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist residents.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff as requested.
• Other special projects and duties as assigned.
