Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for our Ridgely Rehab & Wellness Center. You will provide direct resident care under licensed supervision and support a compassionate environment in accordance with facility policies.

The role includes ADLs, transfers, vital signs, and routine resident care tasks. We offer comprehensive benefits, shift differentials, tuition forgiveness, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state where the facility operates.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team under licensed staff.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work under pressure.

• Ability to function independently and interact with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Promote compassionate physical and psychosocial environment per policies.
• Perform ADLs within scope of practice and resident plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food consumption.
• Turn and position residents regularly.
• Support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.

How you Will make a difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

What you Need to make a Difference

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

8 hour shifts 10p-6a
