Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Illinois is seeking caring individuals to provide in-home support, companionship, and personal care to clients, following a care plan designed by a Care Designer.

We emphasize Happier Aging, respectful relationships, and constant team support. Night shifts (10p–6a) offer a $2 hourly differential; applicants must have CNA certification and be legally eligible to work in the USA.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year caregiving experience.
• Must communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• TB screen, background check, active CNA certification, work physical, UDA.
• Must be able to work legally in the USA.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship and personal care.
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Meet safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Service the Piatt, Champaign, Vermilion counties.
• Night shift (10p–6a) with $2/hr differential.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service the Piatt, Champaign, Vermilion counties
• Looking for all visit times, but night shift has greatest need. (10p-6a night shift differential $2/hr) weekdays and weekends

Requirements

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• Current TB Screen, Background Check, active CNA certification, work physical, UDA
• Must be able to legally work in the USA to apply for this position
• Valid driver’s license is required
