Job summary

Nurse Next Door is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care across Champaign and surrounding Illinois counties. You’ll assist with meal prep, light housekeeping, and personal care while following each client’s care plan.

Join a team that values safety, documentation, and warm patient relationships. A valid driver’s license, English proficiency, and CNA certification are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving experience.
• English verbal and written communication required.
• Must have CNA certification.
• Legal work authorization in USA.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship and personal care.
• Follow the client’s care plan.
• Ensure safety and use equipment properly.
• Complete records and documentation.
• Serve the Champaign, Vermilion, and Piatt counties area (Illinois).
• Availability for all visit times weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properlyFunction within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service the Champaign, Vermilion, and Piatt, Ford, Iroquois, Douglas, Edgar County Illinois areas
• Looking for all visit times weekdays and weekends

Requirements

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be able to community verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset and financially rewarded. Proof of Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
• Current TB Screen, Occupational Medicine exam, UDA and Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in USA to apply for this position
• Valid driver’s license is required
