Job summary

GFL Environmental, Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to operate roll-off trucks and related equipment on a waste collection route. The role includes daily safety inspections, reporting, and communicating mechanical issues to keep routes running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off truck and equipment on waste collection routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete reports daily.
• Report mechanical issues immediately to supervisor or mechanic.
• Maintain route quality standards as directed by management.
• Follow safety standards and company policies at all times.
• Maintain clean vehicle interior and exterior.
• Record services performed accurately.
• Assist in improving routing efficiencies with supervisor.
