Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Roll-Off Driver to deliver waste removal services across multiple lines of business. The CDL Driver will collect waste, transport to disposal facilities, and operate roll-off trucks and related equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Salary is paid hourly with benefits including PTO, health coverage, HSA match, parental leave, and a 401(k) with company match. Applicants must have a CDL and at least 1 year of driving experience or a CDL school

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off truck and ancillary equipment to collect waste.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
• Communicate mechanical issues to supervisor or mechanic.
• Maintain route quality and safety standards as directed.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Keep vehicle clean and report accidents promptly.
• Maintain accurate service records and assist with routing improvements.
