Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery is seeking a CDL Class A Driver (Transport) to operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck, transporting parcels between terminals. The role includes driving on a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime expectations and a $23.00–$27.00 hourly wage plus a $5.00 shift premium for late starts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a pre-trip inspection and ensure safety equipment is in good order.
• Drive between terminals to transport parcels.
• Meet DOT and company safety policies and complete mileage forms.
• Maintain certifications and wash tractor/exterior equipment daily.
• Assist other drivers with loading, delivery, or pickup as needed.
