Job summary

US Foods is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to support our Pawtucket, RI operations. You will safely navigate highways and docks, back into tight spaces, unload with precision, and verify deliveries with customers.

Join a team focused on reliability, trust, and service excellence with a strong safety culture. The role starts early (2AM–5AM) with a starting wage of $35.76/hour and $40.24/hour after 6 months, plus weekly pay and a $5,000 retention bonus for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have valid CDL Class A with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience OR 3 months in food/beverage delivery.
• Manual transmissions: preferred; may be required at some locations.
• Must read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safe driving delivering products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Unload products using two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand with 100% touch freight.
• Verify deliveries with customers and collect signatures.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Handle collections/payments when applicable; manage account activity as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
