Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
• CPR and First Aid training a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with enthusiasm and professionalism at checkout.
• Deliver friendly, efficient, and accurate service at the register.
• Follow Four Steps of Customer Service to achieve satisfaction.
• Communicate promotions, loyalty programs, and product recommendations.
• Maintain professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct.
• Operate POS system for cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Ensure correct change, receipts, and processing of refunds/exchanges.
• Balance cash drawer and perform safe drops at shift end.
• Verify age-restricted item and credit transaction IDs.
• Stock shelves, displays, and ensure pricing accuracy.
• Maintain signage and report discrepancies to management.
• Keep floor clean, organized and uncluttered.
• Prepare and maintain self-serve food/bev stations; follow safety guidelines.
