Job summary

H&S Energy is seeking a Graveyard Cashier/Customer Service Representative for the Brookings, OR area. This full-time role covers cashiering, store presentation, food/beverage quality, and a welcoming customer experience. Graveyard shift from 10:00pm to 6:00am, 4–5 nights weekly, with cash handling and POS duties.

The role emphasizes friendly service, product knowledge, and safe, efficient operation in a retail fuel environment. Previous retail or food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, food service, or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• CPR and First Aid training a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Deliver accurate checkout service at the POS.
• Promote current promotions, loyalty programs, and product recommendations.
• Represent the company with professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct.
• Maintain store presentation and merchandising.
• Follow the four steps of customer service and ensure satisfaction.
• Handle cash, refunds, and exchanges per policy.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety.
