Tyson Foods is seeking a Case Picker for a full-time night shift in Ottawa, IL. The role requires standing for long periods, operating a handheld scanner and warehouse management system, and following strict safety procedures. Eligibility includes six months with a single employer in the last three years and no major employment gaps.

Boots, PPE, and safety training are part of the program. Salary is $26.40 per hour with a $3.00 weekend differential. Relocation assistance is not offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of continuous work history with a single employer in the last 3 years.
• No gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the last 3 years.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Three months of stand-up forklift experience preferred.
• Full range of motion in arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, digits, and legs.

Responsibilities

• Pick cases safely, efficiently, and accurately using a handheld scanner and WMS.
• Move product through the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner.
• Pick and place pallets within Tyson guidelines to avoid dumps or misalignment.
• Communicate effectively with leadership about difficulties or discrepancies.
• Follow all safety and policy procedures; complete Annual Food Defense Training.
• Maintain PPE usage and housekeeping, and support safe work environment.
