Job summary

Waters Edge Lodge is seeking a Caregiver/Med Aide for the noc shift to support frail elderly residents in a peaceful lagoon-side setting. The role starts at night with a pay rate of $20.30 per hour until Med Aide training is completed, after which the rate increases to $23.80 per hour for Med shifts.

Regular schedule is 4-on, 2-off, with on-call/PRN options. The responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, and promptly addressing residents' needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in healthcare.
• Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents.
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist frail elderly with activities of daily living (dressing, toileting, etc.).
• Administer medications.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly.
• React timely to resident pull cords/alerts.
