Job summary

La Crosse County in Wisconsin invites applications for a full-time Resident Care Assistant (FT 60 to 80 hours) at Lakeview Health Center & Assisted Living, West Salem. Night shift 10:30 PM–7:00 AM, weekend/holiday rotations, wage range $17.06–$20.89 per hour including shift differentials.

Under supervision of the Assisted Living Supervisor, you will assist residents with personal hygiene, daily living activities, medication administration, meal support, and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing resident care in an assisted living or RCAC/CBRF setting preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Wisconsin CNA registry if applicable; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Provide medications following the Five Rights under supervision.
• Assist with meals, including preparation and supervision.
• Maintain a safe environment; report changes to supervisor.
• Answer phones and perform basic clerical duties as needed.
• Coordinate and accompany individuals to worksites, appointments and events.
• Follow individual service plans and document care.
