Job summary

Waters Edge Lodge in Harbor Bay is seeking a dedicated Caregiver/Med Aide for the noc shift to provide essential daily living assistance and medication administration. The role offers a full-time schedule with a 4-on, 2-off rotation and on-call/PRN options.

Training progresses to Med shifts with higher pay. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 12 months of healthcare experience, clear English communication with residents, and patience with cognitively impaired

Qualifications

• Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals

Responsibilities

• Assist frail elderly with activities of daily living (dressing, toileting, brief changes, showering, etc.)

Waters Edge Lodge is looking for a Caregiver/Med Aide for the noc shift!

Pay Rate- $20.30 per hour until passing all Med Aide training and assuming Med shifts, then $23.80 per hour

Noc shift caregiving shift is 10:30pm-7am, Med shift is 11pm-7:30am

The primary functions of on the noc shift are to:

• Assist frail elderly with activities of daily living (dressing, toileting, brief changes, showering, etc.)
• Administer medications
• Respond to residents' needs promptly
• React timely to resident pull cords/alerts

We are looking for afull time employee.

• Regular full-time schedule is 4-on, 2-off
• On-call/PRN also available

Minimum qualifications are:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare environment
• Ability to speak English clearly to elderly residents
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
