Job summary

Sevita is seeking a caregiver in California to support individuals with developmental needs in home and community settings. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a commitment to help participants achieve personal goals, including daily living activities and community participation.

Pay is $17.11 per hour with full-time benefits and union dues. Shift: Friday to Monday, 10 pm–6 am. This is a driving position with documentation of driving history required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required.
• Vehicle documentation demonstrating continuous licensure if current license issued less than one year ago.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and support those with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve and take initiative to help participants participate in the community and activities.
• Contribute to participants' development in areas like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
