Job summary

Sevita seeks a compassionate caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in our community-based programs in California. You will assist with daily living, personal care, and behavioral support, helping participants live as independently as possible.

We offer competitive pay of $23.11/hour with full-time benefits, including a 401(k) match, paid time off, and opportunities for growth through training and development. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and support those with behavioral or complex needs.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with participants and support their daily living.
• Help participants work toward personal goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Encourage participation in community activities and daily living.
