Job summary

Gravitas is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join Meadow Falls Senior Living in Richmond Heights, Ohio. This role provides maximum daily resident care, observes symptoms, and reports changes while supporting safety and comfort for each resident.

The position is hourly and reports to the Wellness Director, with responsibilities including daily living assistance and coordinating with the recreation department.

Qualifications

• Must be patient and respectful when interacting with residents.
• Shows genuine interest in geriatric care.
• Previous experience in resident care desirable.
• Able to perform multiple tasks during shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Receive report from Caregiver on duty upon arrival.
• Handle and serve residents to assure safety and comfort.
• Assist with medication regimen.
• File and maintain resident records and clerical tasks.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, bathing, ambulation, bedtime).
• Detect and correct situations with high probability of accidents or injuries.
