Job summary

Oakwood Village is seeking an Assisted Living Shift Coordinator to lead Resident Assistant staff, coordinate medical and emergency support for CBRF residents, and ensure compliance with relevant codes. The role reports to the Director of Assisted Living and Memory Care and supports the care team in promoting resident wellness and independence.

The coordinator will oversee medication administration, staff training, and coordination with nursing and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates genuine caring for residents and families.
• Plans, organizes, and prioritizes workload to meet deadlines.
• Provides supervision and training to Resident Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Responds to changes in residents' physical or mental conditions and reports to the care team.
• Oversees Resident Assistants and ensures adherence to policies.
• Audits medication carts and processes pharmacy reorders.
• Ensures proper administration of medications and documents accordingly.
• Maintains resident charts and records with care.
• Supports daily living activities to promote resident independence.
• Notes incidents and notifies clinical staff for follow-up.
