Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Florida is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant for the 5 East Cardiac Stepdown Unit. You will coordinate with caregivers to provide a welcoming and healing environment and gain Cardiac and Neuro experience in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross within new hire period.
• Nursing students: BLS certification required prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing caregivers, promote patient comfort and carry out nursing orders.
• Transport patients by wheelchair, bed or stretcher between department/units.
• Conduct EKG and phlebotomy duties.
