Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit Per Diem RN for night shifts. The role focuses on collaborative nursing, thorough patient assessment, adherence to Standards of Care, medication administration, and meticulous documentation in a Magnet-designated facility.

Required NJ RN licensure, BLS; ACLS, ECG, and Critical Care courses obtained during orientation. BSN preferred with 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• 1 year of experience preferred; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification obtained during orientation.
• ECG course completed during orientation.
• Critical Care course completed during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine health status of assigned patients as outlined in Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.
