Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit Per Diem RN for night shifts. You will join a Magnet-designated nursing team and provide specialized care in the cardiac progressive care unit.

Requirements include NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS, ECG, and CC coursework; 1 year experience preferred and BSN preferred. Per diem roles offer competitive base rates and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• One year of experience preferred; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation.
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation.
• Critical Care course completed during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care
