Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Cardiac Med Intermediate RN/GN for the night shift. This intermediate unit provides care between med/surg and ICU for cardiac patients.

You will use the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Strong assessment skills and teamwork are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.
• RN license current in the hiring state or compact licensure.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
