Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO, is seeking a Cardiac Med Intermediate RN/GN for a 36-hour weekly night shift. The unit, PCU, handles cardiac and respiratory cases without vents, emphasizing strong assessment and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires RN licensure in Missouri or a compact state and a nursing degree (AD, Diploma, or BSN). A BLS certification is required (or obtained within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.
