Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Cardiac Med Intermediate RN/GN for 36 hours per week on the night shift. The unit serves cardiac patients with high acuity, no ventilators, and a fast-paced mix of ED/ICU-style care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or course completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
