Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Security Worker for its facilities management operations in Williamsburg, Kentucky. This 3rd shift position monitors security cameras, conducts patrols, and responds to security concerns to help maintain a safe campus environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, and capable of working independently through the overnight hours, with the ability to walk the campus, monitor access points, and document incidents and safety concerns as they arise.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to work a consistent 3rd shift/overnight schedule.
• Ability to walk the campus for extended periods during patrols.
• Ability to monitor cameras, observe surroundings, and recognize unusual activity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to complete incident reports accurately and professionally.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Frequent standing, walking, and stair climbing.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems during overnight hours.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of campus buildings and surrounding property.
• Walk the entire campus to ensure doors, gates, and access points are properly secured.
• Lock and unlock facilities according to established schedules and procedures.
• Verify authorized access and admit approved personnel, visitors, and vendors as required.
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or suspicious activity.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and contact emergency services when needed.
• Investigate incidents and complete accurate written reports and documentation.
• Escort guests, visitors, and employees when required.
• Assist with parking lot monitoring and vehicle traffic control.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding incidents, investigations, and security-related information.
• Work independently while maintaining a professional presence throughout the facility
