The Tool & Gage House seeks a Dimensional Calibration Technician for the 3rd shift in Illinois. You will calibrate and certify dimensional measurement instruments, interpret GD&T, and maintain measurement traceability in a precision laboratory.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and independent work during night hours, with a pathway to professional development in metrology and quality systems.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in dimensional calibration/metrology/quality inspection or related field.
• Hands-on calibration of dimensional measurement equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, torque tools, height gauges).
• Reading engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and certify dimensional measurement instruments per procedures.
• Maintain traceability and record results with calibration certificates.
• Prepare detailed calibration reports for customers and records.
• Support ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540 compliance.
