Job summary

Samtec, Inc. is seeking night shift machine operators for our Wilsonville, Oregon production plant. The role involves running extrusion equipment and related tooling, with a starting pay of $22.00 per hour plus a 75 cent per hour night differential.

Training is provided, and there are full benefits. Shifts are 12 hours, 3 days per week (Wed–Fri, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM). There is one opening on shift; flexibility to train on different shifts may occur.

Qualifications

• Good computer entry skills with attention to detail.
• Good manual dexterity.
• High school diploma or GED required. Technical degree or certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run jobs for customer orders.
• Maintain a high level of quality and on-time delivery standards.
• Manage job inventory per established methods and procedures.
• Complete and maintain the required paperwork.
• Enter Maintenance Requests on a computer when machine issues are identified.
• Follow processes related to extrusion: set up and run extruder jobs for customer orders, work with high temperature machine/parts up to 1000˚F.
