Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Union Stationary Engineer in Mountain View, CA to maintain and repair building systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability. You will support preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections at a large technical site.

Responsibilities include monitoring controls, performing routine safety checks, and implementing improvements. This full-time role requires experience, EPA Universal certification, and the ability to work the 5pm–2am shift.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (lift 50 lbs, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Plan, assemble, install, maintain, and repair building systems including mechanical, plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
• Conduct routine checks on safety devices and correct issues.
• Track and implement technical innovations and developments.
• Monitor meters, gauges, and computerized controls.
• Document maintenance and operation events and relevant facts.
• Provide innovative solutions and share knowledge with teammates.
• Lead by example and contribute to CBRE RISE values.
• Support a wide range of activities within own team and related teams.
