Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Concord, NC is seeking a General Maintenance / Automotive Technician (Night Shift) with 1–3 years of experience to grow into fleet maintenance. You will service delivery vans at client sites, perform oil changes, tire services, diagnostics, and routine maintenance.

Starting pay is $18–$24 per hour (based on experience) with company-paid training and full benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests, electrical and A/C work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service delivery vans for scheduled preventive maintenance at a client site.
• Perform oil changes, tire services, inspections/maintenance, diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, and tire installation.
• Learn and train to perform advanced repairs and state inspections.
• Training may occur in a customer retail environment before working on the client site.

Shift Timing

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• 3rd Shift: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Starting Pay:$18–$24 per hour(based on experience)

About the Role: What will you do?

• Servicing delivery vansfor scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site

Basic Requirements
