Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Clark, NJ seeks a Night Shift Brake Technician to service delivery vans and perform routine maintenance and brake repairs on a 9PM–7AM schedule. The role includes on-site training and opportunities for advancement within Goodyear Fleet Service Centers.

Starting pay is $24–$34 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off. Authorized to work in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year automotive experience including brake repairs.
• Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site.
• Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, and tire installation.
• Learn/train to do advanced repairs and state inspections.
• Training for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client site.

Location: 1093 Central Ave Clark, NJ 07066-1113
Starting Pay: $24–$34 per hour

Shifts Available

4 Day work week option 9PM-7AM 5 Day work week option 9-6am

About the Role: What will you do?

Basic Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance
• Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• ASE Certification (s)
• Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests, electrical, air conditioning, and primary and advanced fuel ignition experience
