Job summary

Goodyear is hiring for a Fleet Service Technician at our Jericho location. You will service delivery vans with preventive maintenance, oil changes, tire services, diagnostics, and inspections. Training for advanced repairs and state inspections is provided prior to client-site work.

Starting pay is $25.00–$30.00/hr with a $1 shift differential; 4-day or 5-day weekly options with night hours available. Benefits, safety-first culture, and career advancement opportunities accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventive maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventive maintenance at a client site.
• Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventive maintenance, and tire installation.
• Learn/train to do advanced repairs and state inspections.
