Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Endicott, NY is seeking an entry- to mid-level automotive technician. Starting pay $21.00–$23.00/hr with a $1 shift differential; shift is 9am–4pm, Mon–Fri.

You will service delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at client sites and perform tire services, oil changes, inspections, and diagnostics. Training may occur in a customer retail environment before working on client sites.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive experience including brakes, fluid flushes, and preventive maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
• ASE Certification preferred for advanced repairs and inspections

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans for scheduled preventative maintenance at client sites
• Perform oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, and tire installation
• Learn/train to perform advanced repairs and state inspections
• Training may occur in a customer retail environment before client-site work
